FAQ's

Catalogs from Blue Frog Promotions or our "on-line store" include compilations of the greatest selling products available, all at specially negotiated prices and produced by hundreds of the most reliable manufacturers in the premium and advertising specialty industry.

Space limitations prevent us from listing each manufacturer's specific instructions or to cover every contingency. The following information is intended to provide you with "general guidelines." For more details on specific additional features or promotion methods not listed here or in our catalog, consult your Blue Frog Promotions representative.

Will the color of the product be the same as the catalog or the "on-line store"?
We have taken special care to represent product colors as accurately as possible. However, due to variances in the photographic and printing processes involved in the production of a catalog (both hardcopy and on-line), slight differences in the product may occur. If a product is to be used for a particular "color" coordination promotion and product color is a significant part of the promotion, we ask that you order a random sample or a product proof prior to production.

What type of artwork do I need to provide?
Properly sized, clean, sharp black and white camera-ready artwork is required. For multi-color imprints, artwork should be spot color separated. Each overlay should be positioned and indicated by registration marks. The edges on all images must be smooth not ragged. Letterheads, yellow page advertisements, business cards, faxes or photocopies do not provide quality results and will not be accepted. Artwork may be sent via e-mail to artwork@bluefrogpromo.com prior to production. Ask for our instruction sheet to insure accurate and successful transmission of all artwork. If you cannot supply camera-ready artwork, our graphic department will prepare the required artwork at a per hour charge. Consult your Blue Frog Promotions representative for specific charges.

What about screen printing set-up charges?
Garment imprinting requires a screen set-up per color being imprinted. Screen charges are typically $15-$25 per color location. Advertising Specialty items vary in set-up costs based on production method and quantities. Please consult your Blue Frog Promotions representative for specific charges.

Will the color of the imprint or printing be the same as the sample?
Color samples are to be used as a guide only. Standard imprint colors vary from item to item and manufacturer to manufacturer. A pre-production sample may be available for inspection prior to final production. If a specific PMS color match is required, contact a Blue Frog Promotions representative for pricing for the specific product. Every manufacturer has their own pricing policy.

What about paper proofs?
Paper proofs of the proposed imprint can be provided on each item, upon request. Product proofs may be available for on certain items. Consult with your Blue Frog Promotions representative for further details.

What about embroidery charges?
Garment embroidery requires an initial set-up. The cost is based on the final stitch count. An estimate can be provided upon the receipt of your logo. Advertising Specialty items may vary in set-up costs based on production method and quantities. Charges may be waived on larger quantities. Please consult you Blue Frog Promotions representative for a quote.

Do I need to provide a purchase order?
Purchase orders and/or requests via letterhead must accompany all orders and may not be cancelled without prior approval. All changes to purchase orders must be confirmed in writing.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Times quoted are actual working days. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Please be as specific as possible with event dates to insure products will arrive on time.

What if I need a rush order?
We may be able to accommodate rush items based on availability from the manufacturer, printer and/or embroiderier. There may be an additional cost for rush orders and additional costs for next day shipping.

May I order less than the minimum quantity?
Some products may be ordered in less then minimum quantities for an additional charge. Contact your Blue Frog Promotions representative for additional information.

Do you ever have over-runs or under-runs?
Due to automated high-speed production equipment, it is not possible to guarantee exact quantities. It is industry standard practice to ship an under or over-run of 5% on certain items. Invoices will reflect the actual quantity shipped.

Do you ever make item substitutions?
Sometimes items may be discontinued and unavailable. Every attempt will be made to locate a comparable item. If necessary, we will contact you to make the final decision.

What about shipping costs?
All of our products are shipped FOB from their respective manufacturers in the United States. The shipping costs involved vary depending on the time frame you require for delivery of your order and the level of service you choose. We will ship FedEx or UPS in the most economical way to meet your required date.

What are the payment terms?
Orders will not be processed until we have credit approved your company or we have received payment in full. Cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or money orders are acceptable for payment. Customers requesting credit terms must provide credit information and be approved prior to processing of the order.
